Youth Workers

The Lord has called and equiped us as youth workers, which are really laborers, counselors, teachers, and servants to lead and oversee the minintry of Y180.  We feel blessed to teach and point youth to Jesus and in the process have make great friendships.  From all the Y180 leaders, we are praying you find a great youth group to grow in and if you come out to Y180, we will help you through the process of meeting people, getting involved and growing with the Lord.  Come say hello!

Que pasa "Casa Nino"...
That's Homeboy in Spanish. Mrs Jenn and I have been married for 14 years, have 4 krunk kids, and love Jesus. We don't take ourselves very serious and love to have fun, but we do have a passion for God, His Word, and high school youth. When you put that all together, it's like old people being cool with young people...and that makes us feel good! Jenn and I have been serving in youth ministry for 10 years at Calvary Houston and we would love to get to know you.  Come learn God's Word with us, hang out with us, or just come to hear lame jokes.

EN-JOY,

Juice (Mr. Justin) & Jenn

Tanner Smith200
Code Name: "Down Unda"

Tanner Smith is from way far away and talks funny. Overseeing as our worship band, Tanner has an amazing gift to sing, play, articulate and lead worship.  Having lived all over the United States, Tanner is similar to a cross between a gypsy and nomad and rarely sits still.  His greatest gift is his abilty to lose every grappling match with injury, yet get back up for more punishment from the next guy.  If you really want to feel good about yourself, I recommend you grapple Tanner.  Down Unda is a romantic and semi-emotional with the need to express himself thru various songs, letters and talking things out.  He has recently become engaged to his dream girl Erin King.

 Code Name: "LIttle Jaurez"Matt Wigtil200

Please say hello to my little friend Matt Wigtil.  Straight outa Juarez, Matt is the X-lead-singer for the one hit wonder song-of-the-year "Encarnacion" making it to the top of the charts.  You might recognize him on the weekends wearing his recreation clothes.  A local cat, Matt graduated from Bay Area and then sold his soul to Baylor.  He now runs around with his hand in the air in a claw like fashion telling eveyone he is going to "sic-em".

Matt has a love for God's word and is a great teacher of the Bible.  He loves to talk & play basketball, football and is an exceptional dodgeball player.  He actuall won player of the year in the Sri Lanka dodgeball tournament and came in second for "best dressed" with the all new one piece spandex bibs.  We are pumped to have Wiggy as a youth leader!

Taylor 200
Taylor Smith is living out her dream as Ms. Princess Pearland and has asperations of being invited to the "Little MissTexas Pagents" as an example to all those currently enslaved in "Toddlers and Tiaras".  It's great to know you can never grow out of your love for make believe or the wish to make it to Never Never Land.

Taylor has lived in almost every state in the Continental US making her literally Ms America.  I believe she is fugative out of Wyoming for battery of a Wooly Llama. One thing you may not know about Taylor, you can find her secretly listening to love songs by Journey and drawing hearts on her bible.

Taylor is known for her love for coffee, relationships, and always being available to the girls of Y180.  She is committed to Jesus and truely desires to walk with Him.  We are greatful for her organization with events and her biblical counseling to the girls in Rooted and Y180.
