Girl's Discipleship
Colossians 2:6-7 says "As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, ROOTED and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving." Have you ever considered the importance of roots on a plant or a tree? We usually don't think about roots because we can't see them, yet we enjoy their benefits by the fruit, flowers, leaves, shade and oxygen they produce. Roots are an essential part of any plant because they provided stability, gather nutirents & water and fight off infections and disease. In the same way, we as Christians need to be ROOTED in Christ in order to produce Godly fruit, wisdom, discernment, a love for others and faith. We can only become ROOTED in Christ as we walk with Him, built up in Him, established in Him, taught in Him, and abounding in Him.
The purpose of ROOTED is a discipleship group for high school girls seeking to walk deeper in Christ. Sometimes we don't know how to grow in our walk with God and we need help. ROOTED is designed as a small group expository bible study to grow deeper with Christ thru His Word and friendships.
ROOTED meets every Sunday morning at 10am in the ROOTED room at the hallway entering The Living Room. Mrs. Jenn & Ms. Taylor lead ROOTED and are committed to your growth in Christ. We encourage you to come and meet with other girls who are experiencing life as you may be.
